Fourteen people have been transferred to the government hospital in Tripoli as a preventive and proactive measure, to prevent any deterioration in their health status, noting that the condition of all of them is stable.
As for the rest who did not show any symptoms of infection, and their number exceeded two hundred and fifty people, the process of continuous vaccination began until the task was completed.

He said: “Pending the results, the Ministry of Public Health is interested in confirming that the cholera epidemic has not ended and can appear in any outbreak, although the efforts made by the Ministry over the past two months have led to containing it in a large extent, but it is necessary to pay attention and not neglect preventive measures and the use of water, clean and sterile vegetables, and speed up the reception of the vaccine, especially in the affected areas in the first and second stages.
The Ministry has reminded all stakeholders to work towards establishing quick and effective solutions to ensure clean water, purify wastewater and ensure that stale water does not mix with used water, because, as it has deemed, tackling the cholera is a shared responsibility and requires addressing the causes, not just the results.
