Honda Indonesia reminds Honda car owners to take part in the recall campaign for safety reasons. The models that need to be rechecked are Honda cars manufactured from 1999 to 2019. There are three components that Honda recalls in Indonesia, including the airbag inflator, fuel pump and master cylinder assembly.
Social media account @Hondaisme explained that this recall campaign was a product update action (PUD) that had been performed previously.
“If you have a vehicle with a potentially affected model, check the status of your vehicle through the website https://pud.honda-indonesia.com,” Honda Indonesia wrote on social media on Saturday (11/26).
This recall affects almost all models sold in Indonesia, there are even cars that are 23 years old.
Especially for the PUD campaign to inflate airbags. This is done as a precaution against the possibility of a situation where the airbag inflates properly in a crash that meets the requirements, possibly an excessive deployment due to excessive gas pressure in the airbag inflator component, potentially endangering the front passenger in the accident.
Affected models include:

4.Honda CR-V: 1996 and 1999

15. Honda Flow: 2002-2006
16Honda Brio: 2013-2014
Then recall or PUD for the fuel pump component. This is done as a precaution against the possibility of the engine not starting or the engine stalling suddenly while driving because the fuel pump is malfunctioning.

3Honda Mobile: 2017, 2019
4Honda Brio: 2017, 2019
5. Honda City: 2018-2019
6.Honda Jazz: 2018-2019
7.Honda HR-V: 2018-2019

9.Honda BR-V: 2018-2019
The next component that was recalled is the Master Cylinder Assy. This PUD campaign is carried out to prevent possible damage to the brake system which causes the brake pedal to harden when pressed.
Some of the models affected by the master cylinder assembly recall include:

2.Honda BR-V: 2015-2017
3.Honda Mobile: 2014-2017
4.Honda Jazz: 2014-2017
5.Honda Brio: 2014-2017
PT HPM sent notification letters directly to the owners of the identified vehicles. In addition, consumers can view information about this campaign and the identified vehicles on the Honda Indonesia official website and also the link http://pud.honda-indonesia.com.
If the consumer’s vehicle has changed hands, the consumer may contact Honda Customer Service on toll-free 0-800-1446-632 Monday-Friday 0800-1730 WIB. Consumers can directly contact the nearest authorized Honda workshop or make an appointment (reservation) via the Honda e-Care application which can be downloaded from the App Store/Play Store.
