Filming in the popular franchise was clearly not for the faint of heart.
The stars of the Harry Potter film series have repeatedly openly admitted that what is happening on the set often left them speechless. The actors had to make great sacrifices and completely forget about the feeling of disgust.
In one of the interviews, Fiona Shaw, who plays Petunia Dursley, recalled the episode, which practically shook her nerves. In addition to the artist, real owls participated in the work on it. It is with them that the problems arose.
According to the script of the first part of the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone franchise, the birds were supposed to stare at the actress, but they didn’t want to. The owls kept looking directly at the camera, so the project team had to do a little trick. A dead rat was attached to Fiona’s apron.
“The owls were literally obsessed with her and it all worked out,” the celebrity remarked. But all efforts were in vain: the scene, scarier than in any horror film, was not included in the final version of the film.
