Some stops of the lines can only be reached with railway replacement services. There is also a substitute for the replacement bus stop in Höxter.

Paderborn district/Höxter district. From Monday 28 November to Sunday 11 December, train services on the lines RB 84 (Egge-Bahn) and RB 85 (Oberweser-Bahn) will only be possible to a limited extent due to construction sites. Nord-West-Bahn is setting up a replacement train service with buses for both lines. According to Deutsche Bahn, track and switch renovations are underway in the Langeland and Holzminden areas, and Ottbergen station is also affected. Line RB 84 cannot operate between Paderborn Hauptbahnhof and Altenbeken from Monday 28 November to Saturday 10 December. Passengers are advised to use the trains of the parallel lines RB 72, RE 11 and S 5. Buses connect Altenbeken and Holzminden.
