The Ministry of Health has highlighted the parts of the body most vulnerable to sports injuries in stadiums and the most important measures to be respected to reduce these injuries.
The ministry said the parts most vulnerable to sports injuries include the connective tissues (tendons and ligaments), knee, muscles, ankle, bones and joints.
He stressed that the necessary measures to reduce these injuries include choosing appropriate sports equipment and tools, warming up before exercise, gradually increasing the number and duration of exercises, not overloading the body, and ensuring food and healthy liquids.
