Nastunin, or Anastasia Yatsenko in her real name, came to Riga in the spring from her hometown Bila Tserkva due to the tragic events in Ukraine. It was in Riga that she started her musical career in collaboration with music producer Rodion Gordin.
Already this summer, the singer released her first single “Dole” (translated from Ukrainian – “fate”), as well as participated in many charity concerts organized by singer Katrina Gupalo. A video clip for Anastasia’s second single “Dolyna” was also made in collaboration with director Kaspars Kambara. The song was recorded at “Labo Ieraktu Studio” in Riga.
Anastasia’s goal is to draw attention to what is happening in her homeland with her music.
At home in Ukraine, Nastya sang mostly folk songs in the folk style, so this particular genre combined with electronic music was chosen as the basis for all new Nastunin songs.
