LIVE lifestyle – More than 50.54 million poultry in the United States (US) died in to plague bird flu worst in the history of the country, according to data from the Department of Agriculture. It also marked the worst animal health disaster in US history.
Bird flu has attacked many birds ranging from chickens, turkey and other bird species and is spreading rapidly, significantly harming poultry farmers.

Wild birds, including ducks, mallards and eagles, are known to carry a virus known as highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) through their droppings, feathers or direct contact with poultry.
The outbreak started in February and has infected poultry and non-avian birds in 46 states, according to data USDA.
