The year 1941 takes away the father of the daughter, who is sent to Siberia. 1944 brings the son of a Siberian mother to Latvia to fight. Two families separate, but their destinies are unexpectedly intertwined when the father meets her mother in Siberia and her son starts living with his daughter in Latvia. This will not be a show about history, but about longing for home, human power and helplessness, hate and love and growth.
