Recently, the Polish studio CD Projekt RED officially shownHere’s what The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will look like on next-gen consoles and PC. Along with many visual and gameplay improvements, the cult RPG will get completely useless elements. Attentive gamers have noticed that the poisonous “junk” armor from the first season of the Netflix series The Witcher with Henry Cavill has been added to the game. Now it needs to be removed.
The armor from the series was remembered even by those users who are not familiar with the world of The Witcher. His ridiculous appearance spawned many memes and caused a wave of angry reactions from fans. The Nilfgaardian armor from the show looked like a garbage bag and has now been added to the game for some reason.
I can’t believe they added Netflix’s Nilfgaardian armor to The Witcher 3

I don’t understand why they even recognized the Netflix series, let alone put the time and resources into making these sets in the game…

Probably a joint promotion deal. Netflix used some elements from the game, like swords and medallions, so CDPR had to too. I definitely won’t use this crap.

In social networks, gamers express mass dissatisfaction with this decision of CD Projekt RED. The Netflix series is already not very popular in the community of fans of The Witcher, and in some causes a very strong anger. Users hope that this ridiculous set of armor can be easily disabled in the settings, but they are still blown away that the developers were working on such content.
The new version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released on December 14th on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
