The Riyadh health authority has announced the arrest of two illegal immigrants who perform abortions, in collaboration with the security authorities and with the follow-up of the director general of health affairs in Riyadh, Dr. Hassan Al-Shahrani.
It emerged that the two expatriates performed abortions in an environment that lacked minimum sanitary requirements, through an apartment they had rented south of Riyadh for this purpose.
The Department of Compliance Assistance of “Riyadh Health” has arrested the expatriates, after monitoring this practice which threatens patient safety, and is considered a violation of the regulation.
