Fright at JFK airport in New York
This singular story began when the baggage in question – belonging to a traveler departing for Orlando (Florida) – was subjected to an X-ray scanner. It was in this context that an agent noticed that something was wrong. And the least we can say is that the latter was right since a To chat lay inside the bag.
«A Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officer was shocked to find a ginger cat in checked baggage at JFK airport after going through the X-ray unitTSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein said in a tweet.
We’re letting the cat out of the bag for a historic discovery. This CATch had our own baggage checkers @JFKairport saying: “Come on meow”! Feline like you has travel questions that reach our friends @AskTSA. They are available every day, from 8:00 to 18:00 (ET). pic.twitter.com/LpIkLbAgzC

In the images shared on Twitter, we can clearly see the furball’s silhouette, as well as his hair sticking out of the luggage. Unsurprisingly, the stowaway, who was in good health, was pulled out of the suitcase.
The cat found in the suitcase returned to his home
Also according to the TSA, the cat returned to his home. Therefore, one question is on everyone’s lips: how could he get into such a situation? As the American media point out, the feline does not belong to the owner of the bag, but to a person who lives with him.
The animal would have slipped into the suitcase without the traveler noticing.
