Jakarta –
Former spokesman for President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), now a diplomat, Fadjroel Rachman, insinuating that there is a figure who has just claimed to be a presidential candidate but is currently campaigning. Bappilu DPP Democratic Party MP Kamhar Lakumani rated Fadjroel’s insinuation as a form of anxiety.
“So we are kind enough to think that what Bung Fadjroel said was a form of anxiety due to the short formal stages leading up to the presidential elections which did not optimally facilitate the process of contesting ideas, ideas and whatnot for get the best candidate for the leader,” Kamhar said at the prompting, on Thursday (24/11/2022).
Kamhar then raised the presidential threshold to 20 percent which limits political parties and potential figures. He asked that this be corrected.
As for the figure being satirised Fadjroel Rachman, Kamhar admitted that he could not explain who the person in question was. However, he said there is currently no ban on political parties advancing agendas related to the presidential election.
“Even so, there is no prohibition for political figures and parties or coalitions of political parties from carrying out programs and agendas related to the contestation of the upcoming presidential election, whether in the form of coalition-building efforts, declarations of coalitions, declarations of nominations and so on as a manifestation of the sovereignty and autonomy of the party as well as an effort to achieve electoral success in 2024, be it a success in legislative, presidential and regional elections,” Kamhar said.
“So that people get adequate information to get credible, capable and integrity-tested leaders through their track record. So people are not as easily manipulated as they have been and become victims of the imaginary,” he said.
It’s known, Fadjroel Rachman insinuating that there is a figure who has just claimed to be a presidential candidate but is already campaigning right now. Who is Fajdroel referring to?
“Why is anyone claiming that the presidential candidate has already campaigned? KPU knock knock knock!” tweeted Fadjroel while mocking the General Election Commission (KPU) account via his Twitter account last Sunday (20/11).
detik com tried to contact Fadjroel to find out who the figure he was referring to was by claiming to be a presidential candidate but he had already campaigned. Fadroel, who is currently ambassador to Kazakhstan-Tajikistan, has not given a clear answer.
“It could be anyone,” Fadjroel said adding a laughing emoji, in a short message on Wednesday (11/23/2022).
So what did Fadjroel mean by hitting the KPU? Fadjroel wants reviews to regulate the campaigns of people who are not yet a final presidential candidate to be better regulated.
“I’m just asking the KPU, it is necessary to review our regulations considering the political dynamics in the country,” said Fadjroel.
