Marco Rossi, the Italian coach and current coach of Hungary, gave an exclusive interview to the microphones of Milannews.it, in which he dealt with various topics, also focusing on Giroud.

Unfortunately there are those who think differently, that is, who score a lot of goals because it’s “easier” in Italy. Would Giroud score your goals in the Premier League at the age of 36?

“I say that we Italians are a people of phenomena. Being able to denigrate a championship like ours is simply… Italian. In the sense that, everywhere abroad, they give it the consideration it deserves. Then Serie A will no longer be the first league in the world as it was in the early 90s when everyone wanted to come and play in Italy. But only for a series of reasons and circumstances that depend little on the football aspect. I would say that the Italian championship is a great championship, in which there are many great players. And so if someone does well in Italy he can certainly continue to do well in England as well as in any other league.”
