Several people spread the news that the issuance of the Al-Qimma certificate issued by Banque Misr with a yield of 17.25%, which was considered the highest yielding certificate in the banking market, had been stopped.
The news stated that “Banque Misr stopped issuing the top certificate with a yield of 17.25%, because the bank was satisfied with the certificate and the yield from its issue, and no longer provided the top certificate with this yield”.
After the news spread widely on social networks, citizens interested in investing were surprised and shocked by this news, so much so that they commented on the publications of Banque Misr which it publishes on its official Facebook page, asking it the truth of this news and if the issuance of the top certificate has actually been suspended or not.
An employee of Banque Misr responded to a citizen’s comment asking the bank whether the issuance of the summit certificate had been suspended.
He said this news is not true and that the bank continues to issue the top certificate with the announced yield of 17.25%.
During the comment, the bank employee pointed out to the citizens that they do not pay attention to the news that circulates without a reliable source.
