Tips for caring for patients at home
1. Cleanse the body to reduce fever. Administer antipyretics as prescribed by your doctor, including acetaminophen every 4 to 6 hours. If the fever lasts more than 3 days, consult a doctor.
2. Do not give antipyretic drugs that contain aspirin or ibuprofen because they can cause gastrointestinal bleeding.
3. Drink plenty of water It is recommended that you drink fruit juice or electrolytes instead of water.
4. Avoid all kinds of spicy foods. because it can irritate the stomach
5. Avoid red or black foods. This can be confused with gastrointestinal bleeding.
6. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of the following symptoms.
profuse vomiting, inability to eat and drink enough food
. Abdominal pain
Severe bleeding such as black diarrhea, vomiting of blood
Restlessness, sweating, cold body, cold hands and feet
do not urinate for more than 6 hours
Not feeling well, panting, tired
