North of Montpellier. Lodève: stabbed on a background of drunkenness and cocaine

A motorist was found on Friday afternoon severely stabbedlying in the parking lot of a supermarket at Praisedevenorth of Montpellier. His car was parked nearby.

It was around 3pm when the customers of Super U in Lodève sounded the alarm: a man was lying on the ground and bleeding. The fire brigade intervened immediately Sdis 34 and to a doctor, he was rushed to the University of Montpellierwith stab wounds in the abdomen. Luckily he’s out of danger.

Thanks to his testimony, The police station identified the perpetrator of the stab wounds, who had given him an appointment in this parking lot, after a frantic meeting on the background of alcoholism and a dispute over cocaine trafficking.

34 years old, this Lodévois, already convicted in the past of theft, willful degradation, traffic offences, contempt and aggravated violence was jailed on Monday until his trial. Police investigations continue.
