During the general meeting held on November 4, the association, historic partner of the French Blood Institute (EFS), highlighted the good results of the season. Overall, of the 1,513 people who arrived, 1,210 were sampled, including 162 new donors, up slightly. The evaluation focused on the collections of Soustons, Vieux-Boucau, Moliets-et-Maâ and Messanges.
Loyalty
If the donor average remains on the eight collected in Soustons, it still shows a slight decline; on the other hand, the percentage of receipts has increased, which means that “receipts create loyalty and recruit”.
46 new donations have been identified in Soustons. Beautiful season in the seaside resort of Vieux-Boucau, where the summer collections of July and August were full with an increase in championship attendances. On August 8, the collection broke all records with 110 donations. Note that the Maison des clubs, which serves as a meeting point, is located near the daily market, along the Moïsan canal.
The seaside resort of Moliets, which welcomes volunteers to its seminar hall near the beaches, had a good season despite a weak first day. Worth noting is the record of 88 donors and 14.5% of new donations. Messanges remains average with “a collection that builds loyalty” and a slight increase thanks to regular donors. Efforts need to be continued, particularly in terms of communication and awareness raising.
