President of the United Arab Emirates (PEA) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) contacted President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) by telephone to express condolences for the disaster earthquake in Cianjur. Jokowi said MBZ was ready to help Indonesia.
Jokowi broadcast it through his official Instagram account, on Tuesday (11/22/2022). Jokowi said MBZ expressed sympathy for the earthquake that killed 268 people.
“I received a call from a friend, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing his condolences and sympathy for the earthquake in Cianjur regency,” Jokowi said. detik com.

The Cianjur earthquake killed 268 people
Of note, the death toll from the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java continues to rise. BNPB said the death toll from the Cianjur earthquake was 268 people, updated as of 5pm WIB this afternoon.
“Now there are 268 dead,” BNPB chief Suharyanto said in an online news conference on Tuesday (11/22).
Suharyanto explained that the death toll that had been identified amounted to 122. The identification process was still ongoing.
“Of the 268, 122 have been identified,” he said.
