During the last statutory meeting organized last Thursday, at the O’Mignardises restaurant in Caussade, the Rotary-Club of Caussade Midi-Quercy, chaired by Hélène Chalmel, proceeded with the insertion of two new members.
The first applicant, sponsored by André Salesses, is Carole Schiavoni, 52, a resident of Meauzac, director of the Harmonie medical services agency in Montauban and a volunteer at the Restos du Coeur. “It is said of you that you show great empathy because of your profession but also of your personality; you are understanding, benevolent, attentive to others, but also a teacher because you have also been a trainer for a few years. for the new recruits for Harmonie medical service Ti I will accompany you in your first steps and make sure that you can easily find your way around our club so that you can, according to the club’s motto, serve the general interest,” said his godfather André Salesses.
The second applicant is Sophie Bogaert, 56, resident of Lavilledieu-du-Temple, training as a computer engineer, an intense professional career which includes twenty years at Vinci. She said: “I received a warm welcome from everyone, I discovered actions in defense of causes to which I am sensitive, I appreciated the size of the club, its significance and its values. In summary, I felt good, a comfortable in your company, with a desire to invest myself, to participate in the creation of the imagined actions.” For the record, André Salesses made some non-exhaustive reminders: “Rotary International was founded in 1905 in the United States by a lawyer named Paul Harris, on principles that are still at the heart of the organization.
