Woman from Gasol Village, Cugenang District, Regency Cianjur, Nini Handayani, narrates the moments that survived the Cianjur earthquake. At the time she was watching television in her living room.
“At that time during the earthquake, always in the living room look TV, already That theh It’s crowded outside,” Nini told reporters in the evacuation tent on Monday (11/22/2022).
Just as he was about to get up to take a look, he suddenly couldn’t take a step. At that time, he was suddenly buried in a building.
“When you want to see, just one step, from above tea already I can’t move right away, being buried in a building from above,” he explained.
Then he asked his mother for help. Her mother asked people to help raise Nini.
“I yelled to mom for help, mom also called people for help, there were four people who were there Help. HelpedHe was picked up and taken to the hospital immediately,” she said.
Nini felt the earthquake for about 10 seconds when she was buried. She was grateful to still survive the earthquake.
“Still hidden touch there is vibration. There are about 10 seconds. Fast but direct that’s all. I am grateful that I am still given security, that I can still reunite with my family. Everyone is a good family too, thank God,” she explained.
The condition of his home is now destroyed and completely uninhabitable. He himself still felt pain throughout his body.
“The pain is that everything is buried in the building,” concluded Nini.
