Toyota Corolla 2023: prices announced

The Toyota Corolla has recently been the protagonist of a full-bodied restylingwhich introduced several innovations including a new and more efficient hybrid powertrain (read who the first contact). The Japanese house, a few weeks after the presentation, announces the opening of orders in Italy, where it will be available starting from March 2023 both in five-door and station wagon versions, at a price starting price of 32,500 euros.

The new Toyota Corolla will only be available in a hybrid version, with due different thrusterwhich combine heat engines from 1.8 and 2.0 to electric units, with, overall, 140 and 196 hp. The Power Control Unit and transaxle have been redesigned and now the battery lithium-ion is more powerful, but smaller and lighter. The update has also improved the fluidity of delivery and attenuated the dragging effect of the transmission (the so-called “scooter effect”).

The new Toyota Corolla will be available in two setups: Active and GR Sport. Both can be combined with the 1.8 or 2.0 engine and with the two body variants: hackbacks And Touring sports (the latter has a surcharge of 1,000 euros compared to the hatchback versions).

The setup Active standard features the Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system with 10.5″ screen and cloud navigation, the 12.3″ digital cockpit, the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 active safety system “package”, the 16″ alloy wheels , LED headlights, heated front seats with lumbar support on the driver’s side and Smart Entry & Start. The starting price is 32,500 euros in combination with the 1.8-litre engine. To switch to the 2-litre, which comes with 17″ alloy wheels, it is necessary to shell out an extra 2,500 euros.

The equipment of the Active trim can be enriched with the Tek package from 1,000 euros, which includes a wireless charger, an electrically operated tailgate, blind spot alarm with rear traffic warning during reverse maneuvers, heated exterior mirrors and front and rear parking sensors with automatic anti-collision braking. The 17″ alloy wheels are optional for 500 euros (only for the 1.8 and Touring Sports 2.0). On the Touring Sports 2.0, 17″ wheels are standard with the Tech Pack.

The setup GR Sports offers as standard all the contents of the Active in addition to the 18 “wheels with a specific design and Bi-led headlights. The 2-litre versions also feature AVS electronically controlled adaptive suspension. The price list of the GR Sport starts at 35,500 euros with the 1.8-litre engine and reaches 38,700 euros for the version with the 2-litre engine.

Toyota has planned aintroductory offer for the Corolla, which will be available at 28,500 euros in Active trim, with Hatchback bodywork and 1.8-litre engine, taking advantage of the 4,000-euro WeHybrid Bonus provided in the event of exchange or scrapping. The Touring Sports version, on the other hand, starts at 30,000 euros against a WeHybrid Bonus of 3,500 euros.

L’financial offer Toyota Easy, on the other hand, provides a 48-month plan with installments starting from 219 euros and a down payment of 9,140 euros and the possibility, at the end of the financing period, to keep, return or exchange your car for a new Toyota. Alternatively, the long term rental Kinto One which offers the Active 1.8 Hatchback with a plan of 48 fees from 289 euros, an advance of 3,900 euros (VAT excluded), 60,000 kilometers traveled and a free tire change.
