Why will there be a fourth approach route to Schiphol?
It is now very busy in the airspace over the Netherlands. By creating a new layout, there will be a better defense training area and some passenger and cargo planes will have to fly less. This reduces the emission of harmful substances and saves fuel. A fourth approach route to Schiphol was planned for this purposefor aircraft from the southeast (Middle East, Asia).
