The fatal victim was identified as 37-year-old Pablo Galeano Benítez, who ended up with the oppression of all his lower organs, severe head trauma and several hemorrhages. The man died inside his vehicle in the city of Sant ‘Antonio.
The driver was apparently traveling at high speed on one of the main avenues in the neighborhood. The man was a driver for alternative travel platforms.
Preliminary data indicate that he lost control of his vehicle on a curve near the City of San Antonio and ended up hitting a column violently, Telefuturo reported.
The tragic event took place on Sunday night, in the midst of pouring rain.
“The driver collided with the ANDE column, the vehicle was practically wedged. According to witnesses, he was coming at high speed,” Commissioner Alexander Méndez told Radio Monumental 1080 AM.
