Singer Markéta Vojtěchová Ambrožová died tragically just 19 days after her ex-husband Michal Ambrožová. She became famous, for example, for her work in the bands Jasná Páka and Hudba Praha. She was 65 years old.
The sad news hit the Prague music scene. Singer Markéta Vojtěchová Ambrožová died suddenly at the age of 65. Her boyfriend posted it on his Facebook profile Stanislav Penc.
“She had a heart attack as she left the hardware store. My friends massaged her heart for 20 minutes until the ambulance arrived, but it was a heart attack in the back, hopeless,” said one of the commentators under the Penc’s post. The singer became famous mainly for her work in the bands Jasná Páka and Hudba Praha, where she performed with her ex-husband Michal Ambrož. She died at the end of October after a long illness.
“I am completely in shock. I am terribly sorry. I am very sorry for your daughter Madlenka, because now she has lost two parents. It’s just a tragedy, I want to cry,” her former colleague Jamaika Koblicová told TN. cz.
