“When autumn comes, I just want to go back to the warm August evening when we all met at the concert in Mežapark. With this concert recording, we remind ourselves and the audience of the lakes of light all over Latvia, to sing together and the joy of meeting again at concerts after a four-year break. That’s why we invite you to the cinema or a joint dinner in your living room with us,” said the band “Prāta vētra” about the concert recording.
The concert recording is expected to be available in Riga and Valmiera cinemas from 24 to 27 November.
The concert recording, conducted by “Prāta vētras” drummer Kaspars Roga, and edited by Juris Matuzelis, contains 29 songs. As in the summer concerts, in this concert recording, the music alternates with an ambitious show – specially designed stage sets, lights, dances, fireworks and, of course, the best songs of “Prāta Vētra”. The group also emphasizes: “A big thank you goes to all the musicians of the concert tour ‘A Year Without a Calendar’ who took to the stage at the summer 2022 concerts – Ingars Viļums, Nelli Bubujanca, Uldis Beitiņš, Kaspars Vizulis, backing vocals Linda Anete Rušeniec, Una Daniela Aizgale, Gabriela Zvaigznīte and the ethnic music group “Tautumeitas”.” In the concert recording you will also be able to see and hear friends of “Prāta vētras”, guest musicians – Ansi, Gustavo, Dona, Intar Busulis, the group “Instrumenti” and Kristini Pāži.
