A 22-year-old man lying on subway platforms in Manhattan was struck and killed by a train on Sunday morning, police said.
The Q train operator saw the man on the West 28th Street and Broadway platforms in Midtown around 2 a.m. and pulled the emergency brake but was unable to stop, a police spokesman said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
