Al Ain, November 19 / WAM / The ‘Al Ain Book Festival 2022’ organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi in Al Ain celebrated the 52nd National Day of the Sultanate of ‘Oman, which falls on November 18, as the embodiment of fraternal relations and strategic partnership between the two brother countries.
The celebration saw the organization of a wide range of events and activities, represented by the distribution of the flags of the Sultanate of Oman to the festival visitors, while Emirati folk bands also presented performances of songs and poems which enriched the relationship fraternal of the two countries, performing Al-Razfa and Al-Yawla dances to welcome guests and visitors to the festival. The Hazza bin Zayed Stadium was lit up in the colors of the Sultanate’s flag to welcome festival guests from the Sultanate of Oman and the rest of the country’s emirates, who dressed in traditional dress to mark the occasion.
Omani folklore teams participated in the presentation of folklore-inspired art paintings touring all parts of the festival. The band presented various paintings reflecting different arts, including the “dan” associated with people of the sea, in which the drum and flute are used, accompanied by the applause performed by the band members, amid the interaction of the numerous public who shared with them the joy of celebrating the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman.
The celebration was admired by the visitors of the Sultanate of Oman, who expressed their happiness with this initiative and the accompanying festive atmosphere, which gave them an exceptional experience in celebrating the National Day of Oman, ha brought happiness to their souls and reflected the depth of good relations and strong brotherhood between the UAE and its brothers.
