Samsung could come get exclusive access to a slightly faster version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with higher clock frequencies for the processor and graphics. Namely, the benchmark results indicate that the Galaxy S23 trio offers an overclocked version of the chip.
Ice Universe also claims that the European copies of the Galaxy S23 are powered by an “exclusive high-frequency version” of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. More specifically, it claims that the processor’s clock frequency is 3.36 GHz instead of 3.2 GHz and that the graphics part can reach 719Hz instead of 680Hz.
Perhaps the special version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the result of the extended cooperation between Samsung and Qualcomm announced this summerin case the rumor was true.
The special edition of Samsung Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (we don’t know its official name yet) CPU 3.2GHz→3.36GHz. Surprisingly, the GPU has also increased from 680MHz to 719MHz
