VinFast VF6 drives an electric motor on the front axle, which, depending on the version, produces 177 or 204 horsepower. The VF7 is available with both front-wheel drive and an electric motor (204 HP) and an all-wheel drive version with two electric motors positioned on each of the axles. In total, they develop 354 horsepower.
Production of the VF6 and VF7 will begin in mid-2023. Until then, Vinfast will sell the VF8 and VF9 models, which cost $42,200 and $57,500, respectively, in the United States.
