Unity is strength

And most importantly, it features all the already established studies. Both hope that this new tool will allow them to “take a new step”. More than 1000 people heat the servers of the Angoulême animation studios. With the rise of the giants of the sector (see box) and new installations here and there, they will almost double in a few years.
Blue Spirit and Superprod are moving
Two of the largest animation studios in Angoulême will move almost simultaneously. Blue Spirit will invest its ultra-technological hive in January 2023, in a former press depot near the station, boulevard de la République. A project that amounts to almost 5M€. Several trays recreated on 2000 m2. Enough to host up to 350 people at the same time.
Superprod, for its part, will finally be satisfied “early 2023, in January or February”specifies the director François Perreau, in the wasteland Barrault, in L’Houmeau.
Work started in November 2021. Capacity: up to 300 employees.
