The account serves to present Radevormwald as a place, to strengthen the feeling of home among the citizens and to inspire those who have not yet visited the city for the city, explains Flora Driver the background for the city’s Instagram aspect.
The account publishes photos taken by administration staff, but also those shared by Instagram users with the hashtag “#meinradevormwald”. The aim is to bring together the many impressions of the city, but also to provide insights into the daily life of the town hall.
Event information and important news from the city are also posted on the Instagram account. Events are also posted directly via Instagram’s Stories feature. Mayor Johannes Mans’ video messages are also shared on the Instagram account.
“After a month on Instagram, the administration is already happy with an active community that will surely continue to grow,” says Flora Driver.
