Bareskrim Polri is still looking for the owner of supplier company CV Samudera Chemical with the initials E. E is known to have fled after being drawn into a case of acute kidney failure.
Bareskrim Polri director Brigadier General Pipit Rismanto said his party would inquire from the company owner about the raw material supply for the drug propylene glycol (PG), which was found to contain an excess of ethylene glycol (EG) and diethylene glycol (DEG).
“The source of PG’s findings is under investigation as the perpetrators are currently on the run,” he said when confirmed, on Friday (11/18/2022).
Pipit said the intuition of the owner of the drug supply company was helpful in developing the criminal case for kidney failure.
