Under the title “The Red Sea, a New Vision”, Lebanon is competing with two out of 8 films from different countries in this international film festival, which kicks off early next month.
The first film, ‘Beyond the End’, directed by Nadim Mishlawi, transcends the scale of Beirut’s political scene to glorify the city’s history, culture and architecture.
The second is entitled “Octopus” by Karim Kassem, which sheds light on the repercussions of the catastrophic explosion in the port of Beirut, and tries to reveal the details of this catastrophe.
