New arrival at Amici’s school.
During this afternoon’s recording, a new student went to sit behind the counter of the most coveted talent show in Italy: Angelina Mango.
A surname that took us back in time and that allowed us to remember a singer who died too soon: Mango.
Amici’s new singer is the daughter of the late Italian singer-songwriter, author of albums among the most beautiful lyrics of our music.
Angelina was born in 2001 from the union between Mango and Laura Valente, former voice of Matia Bazar. The couple – who also had a son, Filippo – then got married in 2004.
Mango passed away suddenly, struck by an illness, in 2014 while doing what he loved most in the world: playing.
