Facebook Continue to show signs of old age and a mortal state or at least change, as this Thursday announced the end of information about sexuality, religion, address and politics in your profile.
The change will go into effect on December 1.
The tweak was discovered by social media consultant Matt Navarra, who noted that Facebook wants you to think differently about its platform these days, avoiding focusing on privacy and potential algorithm deception.

“As part of our efforts to make Facebook easier to navigate and use, we’re removing a handful of profile fields: Interested In, Religious Opinions, Political Opinions, and Address,” said Emil Vázquez, a spokesperson for Meta. . We are sending notifications to people who have filled in these fields, informing them that these fields will be removed. This change doesn’t affect anyone’s ability to share this information about themselves elsewhere on Facebook.”
But there’s a lot of data you can still use, like location information or web browsing history, that can reveal the sensitive details that should be banned.
