Ronaldo was blunt in his interview with Piers Morgan a while back. On that occasion, the Red Devils striker shared many things.
From feeling betrayed for trying to get kicked out of the club, to criticizing the stagnant progress of the club’s development. Ronaldo has also responded to some of the critics, including his former United teammates.

One of them is from Gary Lineker, a former England striker in the 90s. Through his social media, he said that Ronaldo was like burying everyone at the club.
“I was looking forward to seeing @Cristiano at Old Trafford. In his interview with @piersmorgan he buried almost every member of the club – players, staff, manager, board. Unbelievable!” Lineker tweeted.
Ronaldo himself had made a scene before the season even took place. The 37-year-old player wanted to leave MU.

He then defended again for the Red Devils in the first half of the season before the 2022 World Cup break, but struggled to shine. Ronaldo managed just three goals and two assists.
