Jakarta (ANTARA) – Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Pad in Indonesia to fill the novice class market with a price tag of IDR 3,499,000.
“In accordance with Xiaomi’s mission to present technology that is accessible to all, for the first time Redmi presents the Redmi Pad,” Xiaomi Indonesia associate marketing director Stephanie Sicilia said on Thursday.
Redmi Pad is said to be suitable for students, housewives and adults in general who want to have a tablet as a complementary device to their smartphone.
In terms of chipset, this device is equipped with a special game processor chip, namely the MediaTek Helio G99, with a 6nm manufacturing process and speeds up to 2.2GHz.
Redmi Pad is also supported with LPDDR4X + UFS 2.2 memory and is the largest in its class.
This is accomplished via 6GB of RAM with a RAM expansion feature of up to 2GB, as well as a 128GB capacity ROM that supports up to 1TB of MicroSD external memory.
The screen size is also quite good at 10.61 inches in size, the device is capable of playing high resolution videos up to 2K.
Complementing a more immersive experience, Redmi Pad is also equipped with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos technology so that the resulting audio quality can be clear and loud.
Going into the camera specs, both the front and rear cameras both come in 8MP size.
The front camera can be used reliably for making video calls and is equipped with the “FocusFrame” function that can automatically change the view to be wider.
Coming into the battery specs, the Redmi Pad comes with a 8000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.
This device is available in two color choices namely Graphite Gray and Moonlight Silver.
