As part of the Science Festival, a very clear and interesting conference was recently held in Capvern by Pierre René, a passionate glaciologist, on the theme: global warming and its worrying consequences on our environment, and in particular on glaciers . Before meeting her, Géraldine Pérès-Capomasi’s pupils at Loures-Barousse had prepared an interview which had aroused interest on both sides. After that it was time for the school groups to have a picnic, who enjoyed the health trail before moving on to the minigolf course made available by the municipality.
And finally, before returning to La Barousse, the CM2 enjoyed a gigantic game of chess, masterfully led by Laurent Izard of the Fou Blanc association of Lannemezan. “All these free activities brightened up the day of our students, who turned out to be attentive, motivated and very serious”, confides the teacher, always looking for small events for her protégés.
