Four drunk drivers intercepted in Chartres and Dreux

Police identified a driver who had 1.12g of alcohol per liter of blood at around 11pm on Friday 11 November during a roadside check on Avenue Joseph-Pichard, Chartres. This Lucéen, born in 1992, had his license withdrawn. A dope smell came from the cockpit. The motorist, who tested negative for drugs, spontaneously handed over a ball of cannabis resin to the police.

On Saturday 12 November, around 2 in the morning, a police patrol checked a driver on rue de l’Âne-Rez, in Chartres. Positive on the breathalyzer, he would then have refused alcohol tests. This Lucéen, born in 1992, of Libyan nationality, was in an irregular situation and was obliged to leave French territory. His license was revoked and he was taken into custody. On Sunday 13 November, around 1.45 pm, the police went to the Carrefour Chartres car park for a material accident. Screened, one of the drivers had 1.74g of alcohol per liter of blood.
