There could be trouble for Linz Linien: Lukas Klewein, a 25-year-old from Linz who is studying in Vienna, has founded a platform with which he wants to sue the municipal transport company – together with as many fellow activists as possible. The reason for the class action is, in his opinion, a discriminatory tariff structure. Students pay different amounts for the semester ticket. With main residence in Linz and Leonding, the MEGA ticket costs 72.50 euros.
