The eastern Mediterranean basin is still under the control of an air depression accompanied by relatively cold air masses and rainfall until Friday midday, when the weather gradually recedes and stabilizes.
– The forecast weather in Lebanon, according to the meteorological service:
Wednesday: Cloudy at times with a further drop in temperatures, thick fog on the hills and sporadic even heavy rains, winds at times active and snowfalls at an altitude of 2200 meters, some breakages are expected in the afternoon.
Thursday: From little to cloudy at times with fog at high altitudes and without significant temperature changes, scattered and at times heavy rainfall and snowfalls at an altitude of 2200 metres.
Friday: Partly cloudy with mists in the highlands and rising temperatures, some rain falls in the northern regions and it snows up to 2400 meters of altitude, the rain decreases and the weather gradually improves in the afternoon.
Saturday: Overall clear, with a further rise in temperatures due to seasonality.
The temperature on the coast ranges from 15 to 23 degrees, above the mountains from 6 to 15 degrees, and in the interior from 9 to 19 degrees.
Surface winds: from the southwest, occasionally active, speeds between 20 and 40 km/h.
– Sweeping: average on the coast, sometimes worse at higher altitudes due to fog.
Relative humidity on the coast: between 60 and 85%.
