Térvalis will launch a project to use manure as a fertilizer

A pilot project in the Cinco Villas region to reduce dependence on mineral fertilizers was announced at the Renowagro Congress.

The event was organized by the presidents of the Térvalis group and the government of Aragon and inaugurated by the minister of agriculture, fisheries and food, Luis Planas and the president of Aragon, Javier Lambán, as well as the director of strategic planning of Fertinagro Biotech, Sergio will bind

During the meeting, a new demonstration project promoted by Térvalis and the Government of Aragón called N-Circular Aragón was announced, in which key players in the agro-livestock supply chain are represented (Grupo Vall Companys, Federación of Cooperativas Agroalimentarias de Aragón, Asociaciones Agropecuarias Comarcales and Fertinagro Biotech), whose fundamental objective is to reduce as much as possible the dependence on fossil mineral fertilization in the agricultural production of a region of Aragon.

The test will begin in up to three farms of the Vall Companys group and the transformation processes will be carried out from the Térvalis plant in Utrillas (Teruel).

In this project, the different technologies will be tested so that the biological and organic resources naturally present in the manure allow to increase the health of the soils of this region, in order to produce food in a more sustainable way.
