In circular published on 14 November, François Braun, Minister of Health and Prevention, details the second tariff and budget campaign 2022 for health facilities. The allocation of more than €2.3 billion of additional appropriations aims to:
- implement the resolution to release the index point on 1 July 2022 for the public service and its extension to the non-profit healthcare sector for an amount of 432 million euros;
- support healthcare facilities to cope with the unprecedented effects of inflation for an amount of €738 million, in addition to the inflation forecasts already included in the ONDAM 2022;
- support the emergency and extraordinary assistance sectors in difficulty for an amount of 190 million euros, for the implementation of support measures for health facilities for the summer period, in particular the doubling of night work allowances for staff medical and non-medical;
- continue to support health facilities in the face of the health crisis for an amount of €147 million;
- allocate the measures traditionally delegated in the second circular for an amount of 820 million euros.
It should be noted that almost 181 million euros of credits are intended to finance various measures, which essentially focus on a further delegation of territorial jurisdiction for local hospitals (46 million euros).
