On Saturday, November 19, at 15:30, TV3 offers its viewers to watch the concert show “Dziesma dejo. “Dziesma dejo. Song is singing”, in which two traditions – song and dance – are combined in an unprecedented form. This concert performance is special in that the dancers and choirs together create a unified performance.
More than 5,000 participants from Latvia and abroad gathered for the concert. Participants demonstrate both a well-known repertoire and a creation specially created for this event, the author of the musical part of which is multiple Grammy award winner Uģis Prauliņš and choreographer Agris Daniļevičs. It was performed by 56 choirs and 110 dance groups, including 12 amateur art groups from nine countries, on the Big Stage in Mežapark.
