The United States engaged with the LGBT community before going to Qatar, a state not necessarily known for its openness on this level.
The North American team presented a renewed version of its logo with the colors of the rainbow, the flag of the LGBTQ+ community. Team USA will be displaying it at their training center at Ar-Rayyan’s Al-Gharafa Stadium. In official matches the basic logo of the American team will be used, any political claim being prohibited. This is achieved as part of the Be The Change initiative where the USA team he has been engaged since 2020.
