DUBAI, 14th November, 2020 (WAM) — The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, has announced the approval and issuance of housing aid decisions for the current month of November, with 510 new housing decisions, with a total value of 406 million 700 thousand dirhams, as part of the fifth batch of loan recipients under the new housing policy and home loan finance program.
Thus, the percentage of what has been achieved of the year 2022 targets since the adoption of the housing policy by the government last June reaches 84%, with 2526 housing decisions worth two billion 12 million 851 thousand dirhams out of the 3,000 decided for the current year.
His Excellency Engineer Mohamed Al Mansouri, Director of Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, said the program continues to work hard and cooperate constructively with various partners in government agencies and the private sector, especially national banks, to implement the decisions by wise leadership aimed at meeting the aspirations and needs of citizens, providing them with decent livelihoods and ensuring the well-being of fellow citizens and their families Including the new housing policy and the financing program for home loans worth 11.5 billion dirhams, for the benefit of 13,000 families in the city, approved by the honorable Council of Ministers in its session last June.
He affirmed the enthusiasm of the program to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, State President, “may God protect him” and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, represented in meeting the future needs of the citizens of the country and enhancing the stability. The family and the achievement of well-being and a decent and secure life for citizens through the implementation than stated in the objectives of the housing policy according to the frameworks and timescales indicated.
He stressed that the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program is making sincere efforts to meet the requirements of citizens applying for housing assistance, expedite the completion of applications and complete all waiting lists, as well as strengthen cooperation with its partners in government agencies , the private sector and the local community in this sense, and that is among the objectives of the program for this phase.In the future, join efforts to serve the citizens who benefit from the program.
He explained that the new housing policy confirms that the housing dossier is a priority within the state’s strategic directions for the next fifty years and rational leadership approach and embodies the UAE government’s efforts to make happy its citizens and accelerate its steps toward achieving stable housing and quality of life for citizens and providing them with decent livelihoods in a manner that supports the state’s goals for the next fifty years and its aspirations toward global leadership.
Al Mansouri indicated that the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program and under the directives of His Excellency Minister Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, is working diligently to make ambitious decisions that are in line with the indications of the leadership in terms of meeting the growing demand for housing and the advancement of this vital sector, which is considered a great bolster of national economies and defines characteristics of family stability.
