Mafia: “The Good Guys”
In 1990, Scorsese returned to his favorite subject matter more excessive, brutal and detailed than ever. “The Good Boys” takes a look into the innards of the mafia, in this case Cosa Nostra in New York. In the main roles were Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci and, of course, Robert De Niro. Behind the cameras, as director of photography, was, for the fourth time, the German Michael Ballhaus.
