Death Egyptian musician Mohamed Sultan was absent Sunday night after a long struggle with illness and a heart attack, following which he was transferred to Kasr Al-Aini hospital before dying there.
The Egyptian musician died at the age of 85, when he was born in Alexandria in 1937, and was known in his artistic beginnings as an actor, before moving into the field of music.
The deceased married singer Faiza Ahmed, and she bore him two sons, who work in the medical profession in France, according to the father previously.

The Board of Directors of the Union of Musical Professions released a statement in mourning for the passing, noting that they are coordinating to hold a funeral in a place worthy of the deceased musician’s worth.
Sultan inherited the love of music from his mother, who was good at playing and singing, so he learned to play the oud and piano as a child, while his father was a police officer who achieved the rank of hakmdar.
And the deceased has a story with musician Muhammad Abdel-Wahhab, who met him and admired his art, where Faiza Ahmed met Abdel-Wahhab and told him about Sultan’s talent, and generations musician told her that she had met him before her, and advised her to collaborate with him, and expected that she would have much in the field of music and melodies.
