VICTORY WITHOUT PANECHE
In an encounter with few chances, LOSC narrowly won against bottom-ranked bottom-ranked Angers thanks to a Tiago Djalo goal in the first period.
For this last game before the long break due to the World Cup in Qatar, LOSC did not offer the sparkling game it had been proposing since the beginning of the season. With few occasions, this LOSC – Angers will not remain a great vintage. Angers, who thought they had opened the scoring from ex-Dunkerque Salama, flagged offside by VAR, were punished in stride by LOSC with a goal from Tiago Djalo’s powerful header from a corner after the Angevins’ missed goal. If LOSC managed their small goal, they were nonetheless scared late in the game with Carlos Baleba’s dismissal for overexertion earning him a red card. At ten o’clock, LOSC then withdrew and secured the essential, the three points of victory. Les Dogues maintain their 7th place in Ligue 1.
