Korean football, which is fighting to progress to the round of 16 of the World Cup for the second time in history, is heading to Qatar, the final battleground.

The main team of the national football team, led by coach Paulo Bento, leaves for Doha, Qatar via Incheon International Airport at 0:25 on the 14th. Earlier on the 12th, coach Bento announced the final list of 26 players for the Qatar World Cup, including Son Heung-min and Lee Kang-in.

Also included were Song Min-gyu (Jeonbuk), who scored his debut goal in match A against Iceland the previous day, Na Sang-ho (Seoul) and Kwon Chang-hoon (Gimcheon). Na Sang-ho graduated from Gwangyang Middle School and Kumho High School.

On the beltline, Jung Woo-young (Al Sadd), Son Jun-ho (Shandung Taisan) and Baek Seung-ho (Jeonbuk) add strength.

While Kim Min-jae and Kim Young-kwon (Ulsan) are expected to work together in central defence, Kwon Kyung-won (Gamba Okasa) and Cho Yoo-min (Daejeon) will go to Qatar together. Park Ji-soo (Kimcheon), who was injured in the previous day’s evaluation match, was not included.

Always left and right, Kim Jin-soo (Jeonbuk), Hong Chul (Daegu), Kim Tae-hwan (Ulsan), Yoon Jong-gyu (Seoul) and Kim Moon-hwan (Jeonbuk-i) were on the list.
